The Tamale Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Apostle John Budu Kobina Tawiah, recently held a special leadership training programme, dubbed ‘The Leadership Challenge.’
The impactful training event, conducted on March 29, 2025, revolved around the theme, ‘Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling as a Leader.’ It was intended to deepen participants’ understanding of their roles in fostering church growth while equipping them with essential skills for ministry, leadership, and personal development.
The programme brought together district ministers, Central Presiding Elders, District Executive Committee Members, and District Women’s Ministry Leaders from across the area. Key topics covered included COP In Focus – Vision 2028, COP Distinctiveness, Team Management, Healthy Relationships, Desired Results, and Developing Action Plans.
Apostle Tawiah stressed the importance of equipping leaders and building their capacity, highlighting that visions unify and inspire groups.
He encouraged participants to embrace Vision 2028, the church’s five-year plan, and teach it at the grassroots level.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with Elder Chris Ayensu Insaidoo of Life 3N Relief, who served as the lead trainer. Other speakers included Pastor Jonah Sei, Pastor Frank Amoako Henneh, and Pastor Rexford Dickson Duah.
Participants expressed satisfaction with the training, feeling well-equipped for their roles as church leaders. They will receive certificates after completing the second phase of the training later in the year.
