The Church of Pentecost Germany, under the leadership of Apostle Daniel Ato Eduah, has held its National Council Meetings in Hamburg.
The National Council meetings, which took place from February 21-22, 2025, is an annual event where the church reviews the past year, renders accounts of its stewardship, and discusses various issues concerning its future, especially for the ensuing year.
Held under the theme, ‘Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling,’ it was attended by councillors of the church, including National Executive Members, Ministers and their wives, National Ministry Leaders and Assistants, Area Executive Committee Members, Area Ministry Leaders and Assistants, District Ministry Leaders and Assistants, and Presiding Elders.
During the opening session on February 21, Apostle Michael Acquaah, the Stuttgart Area Head, spoke on the topic: ‘Because of Me.’ He highlighted the life of Apostle Paul before his encounter with God and conversion, encouraging councillors and participants to be more involved in church activities and not to discourage those working hard.
Apostle Acquaah emphasised that the church belongs to God, so whatever one does against the church, they do against God, saying, ‘When you speak good things about the church, it is like saying good things about Jesus.’
Delivering the State-of-the-Church Address, National Head Apostle Daniel Ato Eduah thanked God for seeing the church through another year and expressed appreciation on behalf of the National Executives to Ministers and their wives, presiding elders, officers, and the entire membership of the church in Germany for their invaluable contributions and instrumental role in advancing God’s Kingdom and the ‘Possessing the Nations’ agenda.
Key highlights from his address indicated that the current membership of The Church of Pentecost Germany stood at 10,176 at the end of December 2024, with 19 districts, three areas, and 108 local assemblies.

During the period under review, 485 souls were won, 184 received Holy Spirit baptism, 184 were baptised in water, 173 children were dedicated, 237 backsliders were won back, and eight assemblies were opened.
During the meetings, the National Deacon, Elder Yaw Poku Bota, whose term ended after 17 years of meritorious service, was duly appreciated, as was Deaconess Felicia Darko Sakyi, who served as the National Women’s Ministry Leader for eight years.
