The Aflao Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Michael Agyen Brefo, accompanied by a team of pastors from the Area on Friday, March 7, 2025, visited the Agavedzi community in Ketu South, Volta Region, to assess the damage caused by recent coastal flooding. The devastating floodwaters destroyed over 50 households, displacing more than 600 people.
During the visit, Apostle Brefo gained first-hand insight into the situation and offered words of encouragement to the affected people.
‘In this life, there are many troubles, but those who hope in the Lord will come out strongly,’ he assured them.
Apostle Brefo also visited church members affected by the disaster, promising that the church would provide support. He appealed to benevolent organisations and individuals to assist the community by providing temporary shelter and livelihood support to the victims.
