The Kete Krachi Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Charles K. Fosu, has stated that the call to soul-winning is not just a duty but an essential part of the believer’s life, urging everyone to actively engage in spreading the gospel.
Pastor Charles Fosu said this today during his presentation on the topic: “Unleashed to Save the Never-Dying Soul” at the Ministers and Wives Conference (MWC) for Volta and Oti regions at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Ho.
Drawing from Mark 8:36-37, he stressed the profound responsibility every Christian bears in the mission to win souls for Christ.
He defined transformation as the conversion of both individuals and entire societies through the power of the gospel, highlighting that while mass evangelism plays an important role, it cannot replace the personal responsibility each believer has to reach out to others.
Pastor Fosu acknowledged the challenges in soul-winning, citing the hindrances identified by Charles Spurgeon, such as sinners’ indifference, unbelief, procrastination, and self-righteousness.
He addressed each of these barriers, offering practical solutions to help believers overcome them and become more effective in their evangelistic efforts.
The Kete-Krachi Area Head concluded by emphasizing the immense blessings of soul-winning.
He reminded the audience that every soul saved brings joy in heaven, joy to the individual who accepts Christ, and joy to the soul winner.
He also highlighted the growth and increase it brings to the Church, along with the accompanying signs and miracles that follow the preaching of the gospel.
