The 2024 Christmas convention organised by the Prophet M. K. Yeboah (PMKY) Worship Centre in the Kasoa Area of The Church of Pentecost was a remarkable event, showcasing the love of Christ in a tangible way.
The convention, held under the theme, ‘Jesus Christ; God’s Greatest Gift To Humanity’ (John 3:16), began on Thursday and concluded with an appreciation service on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
The Resident Minister, Pastor Fred Amoakohene Sarpong, led the congregation in a series of electrifying and spirit-filled activities. On Saturday, December 28, the church demonstrated its commitment to its members and the community by distributing Christmas packages to all present. This act of generosity was a highlight of the convention, bringing joy and a sense of belonging to every member.
The climax of the convention on Sunday was marked by a heartwarming exchange of gifts among individual members. This gesture of brotherly love and fellowship ensured that everyone experienced the true spirit of Christmas. The event drew many people from the Opeikuma community, including non-members who were warmly welcomed and included in the celebrations.
Adding to the festive spirit, the church organised a get-together and awards ceremony on Monday, December 30, 2024. The special event honoured the aged members of the church, former officers, past presiding elders, and key partners. It was a moment of reflection and appreciation, recognising the contributions of those who have played significant roles in the church’s journey.
Overall, the 2024 Christmas convention at PMKY Worship Centre was a beautiful demonstration of love, unity, and the true meaning of Christmas, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
