The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, has dedicated the Tweapease Central Assembly auditorium in the Kade Area of the church.

The building, which was fully funded by the Elder Prince Amoah, a businessman, was officially dedicated on Monday, December 30, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the assembly.

The church building is designed to serve various functions, including an office for the district minister, a secretariat room, three spacious auditoriums for Children’s Ministry, two storerooms, eleven washrooms, and two balconies. Additionally, it is equipped with seating arrangements for children and adults, musical instruments, public address systems, and a mechanised borehole to ensure a reliable water supply.

The sod-cutting ceremony for the new church building took place on January 21, 2024, led by Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei, the Kade Area Head. Construction progressed rapidly, culminating in the completion of the building within 12 months.

Apostle Eric Nyamekye, who presided over the service, delivered a sermon centered on the topic, ‘The Purpose of the Temple,’ drawing from 1 Chronicles 22:19.

He emphasised that while God does not dwell in buildings made by men, His presence is invoked through the righteousness of believers.

He urged congregants to treat the church as a house of prayer and to actively engage in worship and prayer within its walls. He reiterated that God’s spirit is activated by believers who enter the church building with pure hearts and intentions.

The Chief of Tweapease, Nana Asirifi Katwobo, who was present at the service, appreciated God and Elder Prince Amoako for the wonderful gesture.
