The National Chieftaincy Ministry of the Church of Pentecost has ended a three-day Area Chieftaincy Seminar tour of the Eastern Region with a call on Christian royals to diligently seek the counsel of God in the discharge of their duties as traditional rulers.

Addressing chiefs and queen mothers at Suhum, Nsawam, and Nkawkaw Areas of the Church as part of the National Chieftaincy Seminar tour of the Eastern region, the Chieftaincy Coordinator, Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh with some biblical premise, enlightened participants on how some individuals succeeded as good Kings due to their complete dependency on God.

He stated emphatically that kingdoms thrive when there is a partnership between Chiefs and God’s servants, with a biblical example of Hezekiah drawn from 2 Kings 19 and 2 Chronicles 22, respectively.

‘’King Hezekiah was a royal yet he believed in God and trusted him, so he ruled with a Godly mind and made sure to hand over all battles that came on his way to God to fight for him’’, he stressed.

Apostle Anane Denteh who doubles as Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) Director, indicated that when there’s a synergy between the palace and the church, the palace and the people receive God’s blessings.

While admonishing traditional rulers to seek the counsel of God in the discharge of their duties even in the face of adversity, Apostle Anane Denteh made this profound statement that ‘’whenever God takes over the battle, the formula of that battle becomes rough”

According to him, the total dependency on God in every sphere brings victory to His people of which the Christian royals are no exception.

The nationwide seminar by the Chieftaincy Ministry was under the theme; ‘Christianity and Chieftaincy’: The Perspective of the Pentecost Chieftaincy Ministry.
