As part of the “Possessing the Nations” agenda of The Church of Pentecost, the Yennyawoso District Evangelism Ministry carried out a hospital evangelism outreach at the True Vine Hospital in Kumasi. The outreach, held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, aimed to share the Gospel of Christ with patients and staff while offering prayers for their well-being. The effort yielded significant results, as one individual gave their life to Christ during the event. In addition to providing spiritual support, the ministry paid the medical bills of two discharged patients, amounting to GHC 2,000.00. They also distributed hampers containing Milo, sugar, milk, and bread to every patient admitted at the time. The screening focused on various common health conditions prevalent in local communities, including blood sugar levels (Diabetes), H. Pylori, prostate screening, breast examination, fibroid detection, and more. In addition to the screenings, participants received professional counseling and consultations, with initial diagnoses provided to help address any medical conditions identified. The convention, which was held under the theme, ‘That I May Know Him And The Power Of His Resurrection’ (Philippians 3:10), took place at Twifo Praso D/A B & C Basic School Park, from Wednesday, April 16 to Sunday, April 20, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Area Head, Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko. Climaxing the convention was the ordination of 86 new officers of the church, comprising 20 elders, 23 deacons, and 43 deaconesses.
