The Elmina Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko, has urged all Christians to remain connected to the Holy Spirit, describing Him as the lifeline and the ultimate source of power for the Church. Preaching on the theme, "Experiencing the Unleashed Power of the Holy Spirit", and drawing from Acts 1:8, Apostle Oduro-Nyarko explained that on the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended with freshness and divine power to empower the Church for its mission. The colourful dedication service took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 and was officiated by the Elmina Area Head, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko. In his remarks, Apostle Lawrence Oduro-Nyarko expressed deep gratitude to the Almighty God for bringing the project to a successful and glorious completion. “This is indeed the doing of the Lord, and it is marvellous in our eyes,” he declared. The Director of the Children's Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Samuel Avornyo, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, launched the ‘Children in Creation Care’ campaign. The initiative is part of the ministry's 2028 Strategic Plan, which aims to Win, Wean, and Unleash godly children to transform their world. The event, held at Elmina Central Assembly in the Elmina Area, gathered nearly 2,000 children, children's workers, and ministers and their wives.
