The Mampong Area of The Church of Pentecost, led by Area Head Apostle Samuel Kwabena Asare, has donated a wheelchair to Madam Hannah Mansa, a member of the Abrakaso Assembly in the Agona District. The kind gesture originated during Apostle Asare's Christmas visit to needy and vulnerable families in the area. During his visit to Madam Mansa's home, he noticed her wheelchair was in very poor condition. Recognising that this was her only means of transportation and considering the long distance she travels to the church for fellowship, Apostle Asare was moved to provide her with a new wheelchair. The Takoradi Area of The Church of Pentecost has inaugurated a new Home and Urban Mission (HUM) assembly at the Air Force Worship Centre, making it the second service after the English service. The inauguration, held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, was overseen by Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, the HUM National Coordinator. He was supported by Pastor Kwaku Kwantwi Asiedu, the HUM Pastor for Takoradi Sector, and Pastor Captain Eric Antwi, the Resident Minister for the Air Force Worship Centre. The HUM assembly began its journey in 2023 as a mobile church initiated by the Takoradi Sector in collaboration with the Air Force Worship Centre. The Schools Outreach Ministry (SOM) of The Church of Pentecost has donated educational materials and SOM daily devotional guides to pupils of the Pentecost Preparatory School (PPS) in Ho-Fiave, in the Volta Region. The benevolent gesture occurred during a medical screening event organised by SOM within the municipality. Apostle Dela Quampah, an Executive Council Member and Ho Area Head of the church, on behalf of the SOM National Coordinator, handed over the items to the headmaster of the school, Mr Godfred Agbeke. Expressing his gratitude to the church, Mr Agbeke thanked the team for their generosity and encouraged others to emulate the kind gesture.
