The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has eulogised Apostle Dr Michael Kwabena Ntumy, a former President of the Council who brought a lot of dynamism and freshness to the largest ecumenical body in Ghana. Apostle Dr Ntumy, who was called to glory on December 27, 2023, was the President of the GPCC from 1998 to 2008. Korle-Bu Renal Unit may shut down due to indebtedness

The renal dialysis unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) is warning of a possible shutdown due to the facility's inability to raise money to purchase consumables for service delivery.  According to the Head of the Unit, Prof. Vincent Boiman, with every dialysis section, the unit loses GH₵380 which is accumulating as debt. Prof. Boiman says the situation is now affecting service delivery and may lead to the shutting down of the unit. February FIFA Rankings: Black Stars drop to 67th globally, 14th in Africa

Ghana has dropped six places in the latest FIFA World Rankings following their embarrassing performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The Black Stars, who finished the 2023 year in the 61st position, have now dropped to 67th on the log globally while also falling further down on the African continent. Ghana now occupies the 14th position on the CAF rankings with Cape Verde, South Africa, DR Congo all moving above the four-time AFCON winners. The changes come following the completion of the 2023 AFCON which was hosted in Cote d'Ivoire with the Elephants staging a host and win campaign.
