GPCC-StarLife Assurance Supports Pentecost Hospital

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPSS) in partnership with StarLife Assurance, an insurance company has donated some equipment and suppliers to support the maternity ward of the Pentecost hospital. Govt. Urged To Prioritize Maternal Mental Health To Manage Post-Partum Depression

A Specialist Obstetrician -Gynecologist at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) Dr. Nita Asamoah-Manu Gyimah, has urged the government to prioritize maternal mental health to improve the well-being of pregnant women with unstable health conditions. According to her, there is the urgent need for government and stakeholders in healthcare to prioritize maternal mental health to aid in the control of post-partum depression, stress and anxiety that exacerbates the condition of pregnant women after delivery. The United States Government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), donated a new 19-seater boat to the Ghana Health Service to serve communities of the Oti region today.
