The Tarkwa Area of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Apostle Dr. David Nyansah Hayfron, has generously donated assorted items valued at GHS 25,476.00 to the Tarkwa Local Prison.
This act of kindness, carried out on January 2, 2025, was part of the activities marking the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The donation included essential items such as food, toiletries, soft drinks, and an air conditioner, all aimed at improving the welfare of the inmates and officers at the facility. This gesture was inspired by biblical teachings on compassion (Matthew 25:42-46) and aligned with the church’s vision of the ‘Possessing the Nations’ agenda.
The Tarkwa Prison Commander, Elder ADP Simon Kwaw Abofra, expressed his gratitude for the church’s continued support.
The Area Head, Apostle Dr Nyansah Hayfron, shared the gospel, leading to four inmates accepting Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.
