The Aflao Area of The Church of Pentecost on Thursday, April 30, 2026, donated assorted items valued at GHS 12,000.00 to victims of tidal wave disaster in the Amutinu, Salakope, and Adina communities within the Denu District. The intervention was aimed at supporting church members who lost homes and valuable property to the disaster.
Presenting the items, the Aflao Area Head, Apostle Benjamin Aboagye, stated that it is the church’s godly responsibility to support victims in times of distress. He expressed hope that the donation would ease their burden and help restore their livelihoods during this difficult period.
The Denu District Minister, Pastor Francis Kwame Wugban, who received the items on behalf of the affected members, expressed gratitude to the Aflao Area for the timely intervention. He also appealed to other benevolent organisations and individuals to emulate the gesture.
The ceremony was attended by Pastor Francis Lamptey, Area Secretary, members of the Area pastorate, as well as officers and members of the Denu District.
