The New Dawhenya District of The Church of Pentecost, led by Pastor Martin Baidoo, has donated educational materials and essential items to Abbey D/A Primary and Junior High School as part of its Vision 2026 agenda to promote quality education and transform lives through practical interventions.
The donation, made on March 18, 2026, forms part of the Church’s Vision 2026 agenda, aimed at transforming society through the gospel and practical interventions.
The initiative was inspired by an earlier visit by the church during the International Day of the Girl Child, where challenges affecting pupils and the school were identified. The need was subsequently presented to the District, leading to contributions from members to support the outreach.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Area Head, Apostle Isaac Kotei Djani, Pastor Martin Baidoo, together with the District Executive Committee and members, donated 70 school uniforms, 70 school bags, 95 New Testament Bibles, 114 mathematical sets, pairs of shoes, and assorted textbooks.
The items are expected to enhance teaching and learning, boost pupils’ confidence and ease the financial burden on parents.
Receiving the items, the Headteacher, Mr Enoch Teye, expressed appreciation to the Church for the timely intervention, noting that the support would positively impact both academic work and the well-being of the pupils.
The church delegation also fellowshiped with the school, offering encouragement to both staff and pupils.
The donation brought joy to the pupils and reinforced the Church’s commitment to holistic ministry through Vision 2026.
