The Kete-Krachi Area of The Church of Pentecost, has demonstrated its commitment to social intervention by donating essential food items to Kete-Krachi Prisons on Monday, February 9, 2026. The initiative aligns with the Church’s Unleashing agenda and aims to improve the welfare of inmates.
The donation drive was spearheaded by the Area Head, Ps Charles K. Fosu, and coordinated by Overseer Bright Otoo, the Area Prisons Ministry Coordinator. Most pastors within the Area participated in the event, underscoring the collective support for the noble cause.
Items donated included 60 bowls of maize, 40 bowls of gari, 7 bags of 5kg rice, 2 bags of 50kg rice, 7 bars of key soap, 1 bowl of groundnuts, 1 can of 5-liter cooking oil, and 187 tubers of yams.
Speaking during the presentation, Ps Fosu emphasized that the Church’s vision extends beyond winning souls to enhancing the welfare of individuals. “We are committed to social intervention to transform society in line with the Possessing the Nations agenda of the Church,” he stated.
The Church team also surveyed a facility being developed into a Skills Development Centre for inmates. The Centre will offer vocational training and counseling, providing inmates with opportunities for personal growth and successful reintegration into society.
The prisons officials expressed gratitude for the donations, assuring that the items would be used to benefit the inmates.
