The Tema Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, has held a strategic consultative meeting with Ministers and all Elders in the Area to discuss effective ways of implementing the 2026 theme at the local level. The meeting, which took place on Friday, 5th December 2025, at the Safo Memorial Temple in the Tema Greenwich Meridian District, sought to equip leadership with clarity, guidance, and practical approaches for the coming year’s mandate.
Addressing participants, Apostle Djani introduced the house to the 2026 theme and emphasised the Church’s divine role as God’s chosen agency for extending His Kingdom on earth. He observed that despite contemporary societal challenges – including rising moral decline, secular humanism, and substance abuse – the Church must remain hopeful. Citing the story of Jonah and Nineveh, as well as Daniel 11:32, he stressed that God still empowers His people to “do exploits” and to shine His light in every sphere of influence.
The Area Head further noted that God can transform a nation in a day and is searching for dedicated believers who will rise, take responsibility, and influence society for Christ. Reflecting on the transformation of ancient Ephesus, once dominated by idolatry, he stressed that the power that reshaped that city remains available to the present-day Church. He, however, expressed concern about the limited influence of the Church in a nation that identifies as Christian, explaining that this is often due to a diminished understanding of the Gospel’s true power. Nevertheless, he declared confidently that the Holy Spirit is preparing the Church for a great harvest and supernatural manifestations in the coming year.
Apostle Djani then outlined the full rationale behind the 2026 theme, explaining its spiritual relevance and connection to global and societal realities, and its alignment with the Church’s overarching vision. The meeting progressed into a prayer session where participants sought divine wisdom, strength, and direction for their responsibilities.
Participants later broke into groups to discuss grassroots implementation strategies, share insights, and propose practical solutions to anticipated challenges. These discussions fostered collaboration and strengthened the collective mission.
Elder Dr Henry Hackman, on behalf of the Area Executive Committee, presented lessons from the 2025 theme’s anchor scriptures, highlighting principles that continue to guide the Area into the new vision.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose as the Elders affirmed their readiness to champion the 2026 theme across all Asssemblies.
