As part of the recently held National Evangelism Ministry Week celebration, the Evangelism Ministry of A-Lang Worship Centre of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the Women’s Ministry, visited the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital (Akawe) in Accra.
The visit, which took place on Saturday, May 16, 2025, was also in line with the Women’s Ministry’s initiative to impact lives through hospital visitations.
The church delegation included Mrs. Olivia Tsekpoe (wife of the Resident Minister), Elder Ernest Asinor (Evangelism Ministry Leader), and Deaconess Mrs. Patricia Fobi Asinor (Women’s Ministry Leader), along with other ministry executives and members.
During the visit, the team donated several essential items to the maternity ward of the hospital. These included tissues, toilet rolls, detergents, surgical gloves, a thermometer, packs of bottled water, baby diapers, baby wipes, a Doppler FHR detector, gauze rolls, and cotton wool.
The presentation was made by Mrs. Olivia Tsekpoe on behalf of the church.
Elder Asinor, in a brief remark, commended the hospital staff for their dedication and encouraged them to continue their good work.
He concluded with a word of prayer for both the staff and patients of the hospital.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Madam Fati, the Deputy Director of Nursing Services (DDNS) at the hospital, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the church for the generous and thoughtful gesture.
She prayed for God’s blessings upon the church and assured that the items would be used for their intended purpose.
