Military High Command Pays Courtesy Call On Apostle Eric Nyamekye

The Military High Command led by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), Lieutenant General William Agyapong, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, at the Church’s headquarters in Accra.

The visit was a gesture of appreciation for Apostle Eric Nyamekye’s participation in the induction service for the newly appointed Military High Command, recently held at the Garrison Church of Pentecost in Burma Camp.

In his response, Apostle Nyamekye thanked the leadership of the Armed Forces for their warm relationship with the Church and reaffirmed the church’s continued support for the military. He assured the military of ongoing prayers and moral support while encouraging the leadership to act swiftly in promoting discipline, integrity, and effective service within the ranks.

Also present at the meeting were Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi (General Secretary), Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe (Missions Director), Brigadier General Benjamin Godson Kumi-Wood (the Director General of Religious Affairs), Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong (Chief of Air Staff), Air Vice Marshal Joshua Lartei Mensah-Lakai (Chief of Staff), along with some members of the Executive Council of The Church of Pentecost.
