The Cape Coast Area Workers’ Guild of The Church of Pentecost has paid a courtesy visit to the Central Regional Education Directorate to strengthen collaboration and promote Christian values in the workplace.
The engagement formed part of the Guild’s efforts to connect with key Civil Service institutions within the Central Region and encourage value-based influence in public service.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman of the Workers’ Guild stated that the Guild exists to empower members to be “the salt of the earth and the light of the world” in their workplaces, influencing lives positively and drawing people to Christ.
In her response, the Central Regional Director of Education, Dr Mrs Juliette Dufie Otami, commended the initiative, noting that such engagements could help promote discipline and curb moral decline within the education sector. She expressed her readiness to collaborate with the Guild.
Also present at the meeting were senior officials of the Directorate, including the Deputy Director of Education, Mrs Harriet O. Idun Sagoe; the Head of Human Resource, Mrs Rebecca Quainoo; and Mr Benjamin Asare, among others.
The delegation was led by the Area Coordinator, Elder Dr Kofi Acheaw Owusu, with the Cape Coast Area Secretary, Pastor Patrick Ayetey, and members of the Workers’ Guild Committee in attendance.
Dr Otami reiterated her appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed her commitment to partnering with The Church of Pentecost.
