The 2026 Missions Board Meeting of The Church of Pentecost is currently underway at the Missions Transit Quarters in Accra, under the patronage of the Chairman of the Church, Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye.
The annual meeting brings together key leaders to review the Church’s missionary work and plan strategically for future growth.
The meeting seeks to thank God for His continued support in advancing the Church’s missions enterprise while providing a platform for prayer, evaluation, and strategic planning to ensure sustained expansion.
As part of the programme, board members are reviewing reports from various mission areas, assessing ongoing initiatives, and making recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the Church’s global missions work.
Delivering a short exhortation, the General Secretary of the Church, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, urged ministers to combine sound preaching with the demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power in order to effectively transform society.
Speaking on the theme, “They Heard and Saw,”he explained that ministry must stand on two essential pillars—the message people hear and the signs they see—drawing from Acts 8:6-7 and the ministry of Philip in Samaria.
He emphasised that every minister must have a clear message from God and encouraged ministers to support the preaching of the gospel with visible demonstrations of God’s power.
Participants at the meeting include Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe, Missions Director (MD); Coordinators of the Missions Regional Blocs across the globe; Elder Prof. Stephen Owusu Kwankye (Finance Board Chairman); Pastor Emmanuel APPAH (Finance and Administration Director); and the Church’s Legal Representative.
The meeting began on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, and is expected to end on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
