FIFA to Open 2026 World Cup Ticket Applications on September 10

ZURICH, Switzerland— FIFA has announced that ticket applications for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will open on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The tournament—set to make history as the largest ever—will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This edition of the World Cup will feature an expanded format with 48 teams contesting 104 matches across numerous North American cities. FIFA is urging fans to apply early through its official ticketing platform to avoid fraud or unauthorised resellers.
