The Ebenezer Assembly in the Otsenkorang District of The Church of Pentecost now has a newly constructed church building, largely funded by the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Graceland.
The church building, constructed at a total cost of GHS 158,550.00, was dedicated to the glory of God on May 11, 2025, in a special ceremony officiated by Pastor Adjei-Nimako Darkwa, Agona Swedru Area Head. Of the total amount, PIWC-Graceland contributed GHS 120,000.00, while the remaining funds were raised through the support of the Agona Swedru Area (GHS 31,750.00), Otsenkorang District (GHS 4,000.00), and the local assembly (GHS 2,800.00).
The Ebenezer Assembly was established in 1999 during the tenure of Pastor Alex Banda, then District Pastor of Nyakrom. As the church grew, it became part of the Nkum District, where it expanded and birthed two additional assemblies—Emmanuel and Bosompa.
In 2018, with the creation of the Otsenkorang District, the Ebenezer Assembly was realigned under the leadership of Pastor Isaac Owusu Gyebi. This restructuring positioned the Assembly for greater growth and development.
A significant milestone occurred on April 1, 2024, when the District Minister, Overseer Solomon Boadi, announced that PIWC-Graceland, under the leadership of Apostle Felix Okyere Anti, had committed to constructing a permanent church building for the Assembly. The news was received with great joy and marked the beginning of a transformative project for the local community.
Speaking at the dedication, the Area Head expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the church to the leadership and members of PIWC-Graceland.
He commended their unity, sacrifice, and commitment to the Kingdom, noting that their consistent support for church and community development across the nation is worthy of emulation.
The dedication ceremony was attended by Overseer Solomon Boadi, his wife Mrs. Rebecca Aku Boadi, and several pastors from the Agona Swedru Area.
This generous act of Kingdom partnership has opened a new chapter in the life of Ebenezer Assembly—a church that has grown steadily and faithfully since its inception.
