The annual ‘Twifo for Christ’ gospel crusade, organised by the Twifo Praso Area of The Church of Pentecost, concluded successfully on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
The event, which commenced on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, witnessed a remarkable spiritual harvest, with 254 individuals dedicating their lives to Christ. Additionally, 180 new converts underwent water baptism, while 95 participants received the Holy Ghost baptism.
The crusade featured speakers including Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko (Twifo Praso Area Head), Pastor Adjei-Nimako Darkwa (Agona Swedru Area Head), Pastor Frank Larbi (Evangelism Leader, Twifo Praso Area), and Elder Bismark Amoah (Leader, Bohye Prayer Centre). The sermons drew large crowds, culminating in thousands attending the final sessions.
In a bid to address pressing community health concerns, a free medical outreach was held on Saturday. The initiative was a collaborative effort between the church, Twifo Oil Palm Plantation (TOPP) Limited Clinic, and Twifo Atimokwa District Hospital. Recognising the prevalent issue of anemia in the region, healthcare professionals conducted educational sessions on prevention and management strategies.
The outreach also featured a blood donation drive, supported by volunteers from the Twifo Praso Nursing and Midwifery Training School. Medications and medical supplies were generously provided by Entrance Pharmaceuticals Limited, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group of Companies.
