Netherlands Women’s Ministry Supports Widows and Needy In Ghana

Spread the love

The National Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in the Netherlands, led by Mrs. Grace Adjei-Amponsah, and with the support of Dcns. Fanny Oduro (Den Haag Area Women’s Ministry Leader) recently organised an impactful outreach programme in Ghana.

Blessed by Apostle Samuel Obeng Eshun and his wife, Mama Patience Eshun, the initiative aimed to provide hope and support to widows and those in need across two districts.

The first session occurred on October 27, 2024, in the Kotoso District, near the Afram Plains in the Nkawkaw Area. The team offered material support and emotional encouragement to widows, hosting a special dinner for over 100 attendees to foster a sense of community and care.

Hampers filled with assorted items were distributed to 30 widows, alongside gifts for the elderly and retired officers. Key officials at this event included Prophet Foster Aniakwa (Nkawkaw Area Head), Rev. J. B. Fordjour, and the Netherlands Women’s Ministry delegation.

Both church members and non-members expressed heartfelt gratitude for the compassion shown to them.

The second session took place on November 10, 2024, at the Akyeremade District in the Mampong Area, focusing on the needy. Over 200 people attended, enjoying a banquet that encouraged fellowship. Used clothing and gifts were distributed to the participants. Notable attendees included Pastor Godfred Tsatsu, Deaconess Ellen Osei Sarfo, and Mrs. Grace Adjei-Amponsah.

This session resulted in 18 individuals accepting Christ, with participants expressing joy and appreciation for the support.

The outreach programme, costing approximately €3,000, showcases the ministry’s commitment to spreading God’s love. Hundreds of lives were positively impacted through acts of kindness, fellowship, and the message of salvation.

This initiative reflects the call to let one’s light shine before others, as encouraged in Matthew 5:16. All glory goes to God for the hope and love brought to those in need through this outreach programme.
