The Offinso Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised a training event for public and private servants, both members of the Church and non-members, within the Offinso Municipality and its surrounding areas.

The event, held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, aimed to instill workplace moral values and kingdom principles into the workers, fostering patriotism among citizens.

This summit is inspired by the Moral Vision and National Development programme organised last year at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa-Fetteh, by The Church of Pentecost under the chairmanship of Apostle Eric Nyamekye. The first summit in Offinso took place on May 23, 2024.

During the event, Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, the Area Head and Chairman of The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) of Offinso, addressed the participants on the topic “Godly Lifestyle At The Workplace.” He emphasised the importance of Christians embodying God’s character in their professional endeavours, urging them to strive to reach their God-given potential.

Apostle Edzii Davidson highlighted key points, such as being an asset rather than a liability, demonstrating faithfulness, dependability, trustworthiness, and reliability, and striving to be solution-oriented rather than solely focused on monetary gain.

He also encouraged workers to go the extra mile, take responsibility, avoid laziness, and always prioritise the interests of their organisations and supervisors to boost productivity.

The summit attracted over 300 participants from various sectors, including the Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service, Security Agencies, Ciivil servants, and self-employed individuals from the Offinso South Municipal, Offinso North, and Afigya Kwabre North and South District Assemblies.

Additionally, ministers and their spouses from The Church of Pentecost, as well as representatives from the GPCC and the Local Council of Churches, were present.
