DVLA launches initiative to train and license tertiary students on campus.

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is partnering with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), to train and provide drivers’ licenses to students at the university, while they are still on campus. The objective of the ‘Tertiary Drive Initiative’ is to ensure that all interested students at the university graduate with a driver’s license. The aim was to provide a package that would give the students additional skills and extra advantage on the job market while easing the struggles that were often associated with the acquisition of a driver’s license after graduation.
