Chief, 47 Others Accept Christ In Beyim

There was great joy in the Beyim community in the Mayore District of the Navrongo Area of The Church of Pentecost as the chief of the community, together with 47 others, surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ.

The remarkable harvest of souls occurred during an evangelistic outreach organised by the district as part of the recently held National Youth Ministry Week celebration, under the theme, “Making Jesus Famous.”

Led by the District Minister, Probationary Overseer Peter Donkor, the evangelism team reached out to residents of the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ, calling on them to embrace Him as Lord and Saviour.

The outreach yielded an encouraging response, with the chief of Beyim accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour. His decision was followed by several other members of the community who also responded positively to the gospel message.

By the end of the exercise, 48 people, comprising 33 adults and 15 children, accepted Christ.
The response to the gospel subsequently paved the way for the establishment of a nursery assembly in Beyim, providing a place where the new converts and other community members can fellowship and grow in their Christian faith.

The District Minister later organised the first church service in the community. The service received encouraging support from the traditional leadership, with the chief and his elders joining other members of the community to attend.

It is worth noting that the Mayore District was inaugurated on September 3, 2026, by the Bolgatanga Area Head, Apostle David Amankwaa, ahead of the inauguration of the Navrongo Area, which was carved out of the Bolgatanga Area.
