The National Director of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM), Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh, has charged ministry executives to implement programmes and activities that foster the holistic development of men.
Apostle Denteh, who also serves as the National Director for the Chieftaincy Ministry and an Executive Council member of The Church of Pentecost, made this call during his visit to the Sogakope Area on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Sogakope District Central Auditorium.
Delivering a presentation titled “Godly Men, Unleashed to Transform Their World” and citing scriptural references from 1 Peter 2:9 and Acts 1:8, Apostle Denteh noted that men are leaders by default. As leaders, he explained, they command a following that includes their nuclear and extended families. Consequently, he warned that if men fail in their responsibilities, their entire families and subsequent generations suffer.
Expounding on the church’s strategic agenda, Apostle Denteh stated that the ultimate goal of the Vision 2023 and 2028 strategic plan is to “sharpen men to possess nations.” He emphasised that the ministry’s plan is designed to develop men spiritually, physically, psychologically, and socially, ensuring they remain sharp in every dimension of their lives.
He challenged PEMEM leaders at the Local, District, and Area levels to ensure the Ministry’s Day programmes are attractive and appealing. He admonished them to desist from turning meetings into theoretical sessions similar to Sunday services. Instead, he urged them to select impactful topics covering health, fitness, business, marriage, and family life.
Apostle Denteh further stressed the need for intentionality in appointing leaders. He advised that executives should be studious individuals who are ready to be sharpened so they can, in turn, sharpen others. “You cannot give what you do not have,” he remarked.
Urging men to be optimistic towards new innovations and interventions, he encouraged them to seize every opportunity to improve themselves and take calculated risks to start new ventures. “Whatever you find yourself doing, do it well in conformity with modern systems and technologies, because times are changing,” he advised. He also encouraged members to leverage social media to market their goods and products.
Addressing the women, Apostle Denteh advised them to save themselves unnecessary stress by actively encouraging their husbands to participate in Men’s Ministry programmes, noting that once the leader is well-informed, the entire family benefits.
Present at the event were the Sogakope Area Head, Pastor Edward Brains, and his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Agidi-Quarshie; Mrs. Martha Denteh; Sogakope Area Ministers and their wives; as well as Area PEMEM and Women’s Ministry Executives.
In his concluding remarks, Apostle Denteh reiterated that the time for men to arise and take their rightful place is now. He charged the gathering to let the teachings reflect in their daily lives, as the church is committed to supporting their growth.
