The Tepa Area of The Church of Pentecost experienced a mighty move of the Holy Spirit during its maiden “Ministers and Wives Rally,” which yielded seventy-eight (78) souls for Christ, with sixty-two (62) of them receiving water baptism. The three-day evangelistic event, held from Tuesday, October 28 to Thursday, October 30, 2025, took place in two zones, Ntotroso-Gyedu in the Kenyasi Zone and Wioso in the Wioso Zone, under the theme, “Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6).
The rallies brought together all ministers and their spouses within the Area, led by the Tepa Area Head, Apostle David Nii Addo-Pappoe, and his wife, Mrs. Faustina Addo-Pappoe. The atmosphere was charged with fervent prayer, passionate preaching, and powerful manifestations of the Spirit as many surrendered their lives to Christ.
Delivering the main sermon, Apostle Addo-Pappoe emphasized that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father and the only truth that liberates humankind from sin, bondage, and the power of Satan. He explained that one of the primary reasons Christ came to the world was to set the captives free and grant eternal life to all who believe in Him. “There is no other name through which humanity can be saved apart from the name of Jesus,” he declared.
To the glory of God, the rallies recorded a combined attendance of about 300 people across both zones. Also present were Pastor Dr. Kwesi Atta Agyapong (Tepa Area Secretary) and his wife, Mrs. Lucy Agyapong; Pastor Stephen Larbi (Area Evangelism Leader); Pastor Enoch Mensah (Area Executive Member); as well as the host ministers, Pastor Hayford Antwi Kontoh and Pastor Isaiah Yankson Coker.
The event, marked by deep spiritual encounters, reaffirmed the Tepa Area’s commitment to the Church’s Vision 2028 agenda of “Possessing the Nations” through aggressive evangelism and the power of the Holy Spirit.
