The Church of Pentecost, Community 2 Revival Assembly, under the Tema Greenwich Meridian District, has extended a hand of compassion to the Tema Urban Hospital through a charitable donation aimed at supporting the health facility’s operations and patient care.
The presentation, which took place on Thursday, October 30, 2025, comprised bedsheets, pillows, toiletries, detergents, and assorted beverages valued at GHS 6,850. The gesture formed part of the Assembly’s community impact initiative inspired by the church’s overarching vision of “Possessing the Nations” by transforming society with the principles of the Kingdom of God.
Presenting the items, the District Minister, Pastor Dr. Suleman De-Graft Issaka, commended the leadership and members of the Community 2 Revival Assembly for embodying the love of Christ through tangible service to their community. He noted that true ministry goes beyond preaching, adding that “every act of kindness is a reflection of God’s compassion at work through His people.”
Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Cynthia Amoah, Head of the Pharmacy Department, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the church for its thoughtful contribution. She noted that the items would significantly aid the hospital’s efforts in providing quality healthcare and encouraged continued collaboration between the church and the facility to promote community health and well-being.
Also present were Mrs. Eunice Dansoa Asare (Customer Relations Officer), Mrs. Alberta Lartey (OPD In-Charge), and Mrs. Jennifer Gyamfi (Paediatrics In-Charge). From The Church of Pentecost, attendees included Mrs. Esther Issaka (Wife of the District Minister), Elder Patrick Owusu Ansah (Presiding Elder, Community 2 Revival Assembly), Deaconess Georgina Aidoo (District Women’s Ministry Leader), and Deaconess Rebecca Adu-Gyamfi (Local Women’s Ministry Leader).
The event concluded with joyful interactions and a visit to the paediatric ward, where the team spent time with the children and shared words of encouragement. The donation, simple yet profound, served as a reminder that the Church’s mission extends beyond the pulpit to touch lives, bring hope, and reflect Christ’s love in the community.
