In a remarkable act of Christian love and humility, Elder Dr Alex Ayiem Eshun and his wife, Grace, of the E. K. Kyei Worship Centre in the Tarkwa Area of The Church of Pentecost, have built and handed over a fully furnished, ultra-modern church temple to the Triumphant Apostolic Church in Bogoso.
The dedication of the new temple took place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in a colourful ceremony that brought together dignitaries from The Church of Pentecost, The Apostolic Church International, and the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC). Also in attendance were government officials, traditional leaders, and members of the community who gathered to witness this extraordinary expression of generosity and unity in the body of Christ.
The dedication service was officiated by Rev. Dominic Eshun, founder of the Triumphant Apostolic Church and junior brother of Elder Dr. Ayiem Eshun, together with Pastor Ken Vuvor and other ministers from the Tarkwa Area of The Church of Pentecost. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as songs of praise and testimonies were shared about God’s faithfulness through the life and ministry of the couple.
Elder Dr. Ayiem Eshun, a distinguished professional and devoted member of The Church of Pentecost, has long been known for his commitment to kingdom work and his deep passion for missions. Together with his wife, Grace, they have consistently demonstrated their faith through acts of service and philanthropy aimed at supporting both church and community. Their decision to build a temple for another denomination, rather than their own, underscores a profound understanding of the Church’s universal mission – that Christ’s Kingdom extends beyond denominational walls.
The new edifice stands as a beacon of hope and unity in Bogoso, providing a conducive and inspiring space for worship, discipleship, and community outreach. With its modern facilities and serene atmosphere, it symbolizes the couple’s vision to see God’s people flourish in an environment that honours His name.
According to Elder Dr. Eshun, the project was inspired by The Church of Pentecost’s Vision 2028 and the theme of “Possessing the Nations”, which calls believers to influence every sphere of life with Kingdom values. “This is our way of living out the mandate to possess the nations,” he said. “We are one body in Christ, and if God has blessed us, we must use those blessings to build His Kingdom everywhere.”
In an expression of heartfelt appreciation, Rev. Dominic Eshun and the members of the Triumphant Apostolic Church thanked Elder Dr. Ayiem Eshun and his wife for their exceptional generosity, describing the gesture as an answer to long-standing prayers. “This temple will serve generations,” Rev. Eshun said. “It is more than a building; it is a testimony of God’s love demonstrated through His people.”
Indeed, through their obedience and selflessness, Elder Dr. Alex Ayiem Eshun and Deaconess Grace have reminded the body of Christ that the true measure of faith is service, and the highest form of worship is giving. Their act stands as a living example of Christian unity, generosity, and purpose-driven faith, a powerful reflection of what it truly means to possess the nations.
