Six Hundred and Eighty-Five persons gave their lives to Jesus Christ during a 4-day gospel crusade organised by the Kintampo Area of The Church of Pentecost.
The crusade, dubbed ‘Kintampo for Christ Mega Crusade,’ which was held between November 19-22, 2024, at the Kintampo Presby Park, attracted people from within the Kintampo township and surrounding areas. Fourteen Muslims gave their lives to Christ and 219 backslidden Christians also rededicated their lives to the Lord during the crusade.
Speaking on the crusade’s theme, ‘Jesus came to seek and save the lost’ (Luke 19:10), Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, the Kintampo Area Head, explained that God’s plan to reconcile man to himself fully culminated in the mission of Jesus to seek the lost and bring them salvation. An invitation was then extended to all who were yet to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour to come to him, to which scores of people, both young and old, responded and surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus.
Other activities at the crusade included a medical outreach, which provided free medical screening and medication for close to 200 people living in and around Kintampo.
The crusade formed part of Kintampo Area’s November aggressive evangelism month, during which various evangelistic outreaches were carried out across all districts in the Area, with many more people giving their lives to Christ.
