Celebrated Taxi Driver Who Returned An Amount Of 8,400 Has Gain International Award

Mr Ackon says his kind gesture has paid off and should be emulated especially by the youth. He believes that it will help address many social vices and corruption in the country.

Kwesi Ackon the honest celebrated taxi driver has been honoured and awarded as a man of integrity at the Global 28 Credential of Entrepreneurship Awards Night in Accra.
Mr. Ackon earlier this year returned Ghc8,400.00 which was left in his car to the owner.

Mr Ackon says his kind gesture has paid off and should be emulated especially by the youth. He believes that it will help address many social vices and corruption in the country.
Wife of Mr Ackon added that the incident has further rekindled their faith in God and pledged total commitment to the work of God.

The high level of morality and truthfulness the taxi driver displayed earned him enviable accolades when the story broke after he returned an amount of GHC8,400.00 which was left in his car by a passenger.
The Global Summit Awards is a flagship annual program of the Malaysia based 28 Credentials of Entrepreneurs which takes place in Africa, for the first time, it rewarded excellence in entrepreneurship and its related initiatives.
The 28COE is of one the largest community of entrepreneurs and professionals across more than 85 countries which is also the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs that encourages its members to become mentors.
The West Africa Representative of 28 Credentials of Entrepreneurs, Dr. Victoria Esinu Vitashie said the taxi driver’s award will encourage people to follow his example, which according to her, will make people appreciate the virtue of integrity and good morals.

Kwesi Ackon was awarded alongside prominent personalities from across Africa.

His gesture also earned him employment at the Church of Pentecost Headquarters in Accra
