A remarkable incident occurred on Thursday, August 28, 2025, when Brother Theophilus Osei-Tutu Twum, a 25-year-old member of the church, experienced an emergency case involving an unknown foreign object lodged in his oesophagus. The incident happened while Brother Theophilus was eating banku and okro soup with a friend. After taking his first bite, he was unable to swallow due to the foreign object, which caused unbearable pain and difficulty breathing.
