The Bible Society of Ghana has described Apostle Dr Michael Kwabena Ntumy, a former President of the society, as a visionary leader who brought a lot of transformation into the society. “As the youngest-ever President of the Bible Society, he brought not just youthful energy but a profound understanding of the Bible and a passion to cause its message to reach every nook and cranny of Ghana. “His tenure was marked by transformative initiatives and impactful projects like the ‘One Million Bibles’ project. GPCC Eulogises Apostle Ntumy

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has eulogised Apostle Dr Michael Kwabena Ntumy, a former President of the Council who brought a lot of dynamism and freshness to the largest ecumenical body in Ghana. Apostle Dr Ntumy, who was called to glory on December 27, 2023, was the President of the GPCC from 1998 to 2008. In a tribute read at the memorial and burial of Apostle Dr Ntumy held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Forecourt of the State House, Accra, the GPCC stated: “His election as President brought dynamism and freshness to the Council which translated in many independent churches joining the fold of the Council.” According to the Council, Apostle Ntumy’s passion for the unity of the churches in Ghana towards the cause of the Kingdom was extra-ordinary....

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday rewarded the Super Eagles of Nigeria with a national award (Member of the Order of the Niger, MON), flats in the Federal Capital Territory, and a piece of land. Korle-Bu Renal Unit may shut down due to indebtedness

The renal dialysis unit of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) is warning of a possible shutdown due to the facility's inability to raise money to purchase consumables for service delivery.  According to the Head of the Unit, Prof. Vincent Boiman, with every dialysis section, the unit loses GH₵380 which is accumulating as debt. Prof. Boiman says the situation is now affecting service delivery and may lead to the shutting down of the unit.
