Karaga District, Life 3N Relief Provide Free Medical Care To 1,134 People

The Karaga District of The Church of Pentecost in the Tamale Area, in partnership with LIFE 3N Relief, has provided free medical care to 1,134 people during a three-day medical and evangelistic outreach in the Northern Region.

The outreach, undertaken by LIFEMedics, a team of medical professionals and missionaries from LIFE 3N Relief, was part of a two-week mission to the Northern and North East Regions of Ghana.

Led by the Executive Director of LIFE 3N Relief, Elder Chris Ayesu Insaidoo, the team arrived in Karaga on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and was received by the District Minister, Overseer Patrick Ntiamoah, and the district’s executive members.

The team visited eight communities, including Blisinayili, Tamanayili, Kumkum, Gbuabliga, Yapala, Gbutugu, Tandon and Ninganambrugu, providing medical examinations, medicines, counselling and health education. The team also extended its services to two communities served by the Assemblies of God Church.

Beneficiaries received screening for malaria, blood sugar levels, blood pressure and other health conditions. Patients requiring further treatment were referred to the Karaga Municipal Hospital, while counselling and prayers were offered to patients as part of the outreach.

The exercise recorded 1,134 beneficiaries, comprising 494 children, 473 women and 167 men. Of these, 768 were Christians, 343 Muslims and 23 traditionalists.

Beyond the medical services, the team conducted evening cinema evangelism in the communities visited, leading 97 people to accept Christ, while several others rededicated their lives to Him. Counselling was also provided to 640 adult beneficiaries.

The team further fed 730 children, launched feeding programmes in two schools and donated educational materials to approximately 370 pupils in three schools within the district.

As part of efforts to expand the Church’s presence in the area, a new local assembly was officially opened at Ninganambrugu on Saturday. Its first church service was held on Sunday, attracting eight adults and six children.

The outreach also featured testimonies of healing and other remarkable experiences, highlighting the partnership’s commitment to meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of the communities.

The District Minister, Overseer Patrick Ntiamoah, expressed appreciation to the Tamale Area Head, Apostle J.B.K. Tawiah, for his support and for making the Area Cinema Van available for the outreach.

He also commended Elder Insaidoo and the LIFE 3N Relief team, comprising members from Ghana, the United Kingdom, Nigeria and Burkina Faso, for their contribution to the success of the mission.

LIFE 3N Relief is a Christian mission organisation committed to advancing the Gospel among least-reached people groups in Ghana and beyond.
