The Ho Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah, has emphasized the need for the Church to fully harness and unleash its vast potential in order to transform the world.
Apostle Quampah made this statement during his presentation on “Characteristics of the Unleashed Church” at the afternoon session of Day One of the Ministers and Wives Conference (MWC) for the Volta and Oti regions, held at PIWC, Ho.
Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 60:1-2, 21-22, Apostle Quampah compared the Church to Zion, which is often unaware of its true potential. Like a sleeping giant, he said, the Church is endowed with untapped resources waiting to be unleashed.
Referring to the first declaration in creation, “Let there be light,” Apostle Quampah explained its prophetic significance in human history. He stated that darkness symbolizes evil, sin, and immorality, while light represents morality and righteousness.
In discussing the concept of an “unleashed” Church, Apostle Quampah remarked, “Records are not set to be admired; they are set to be broken.” He urged Christians to view their professions as avenues for ministry, referencing the Protestant Work Ethic.
“Church members must be taught to see their domestic lives as a calling,” he added.
Concluding, Apostle Quampah underscored that the unleashed Church is meant to grow and expand, emphasizing that a Church that is unleashed must be a thriving, spreading entity.
